Faith Formation Classes

The majority of our Faith Formation classes meet from late September through the end of April. Please see our letter for the 2022-2023 year regarding our programming and more details on classes and times below.

Faith Formation staff are available Sunday, Tuesday-Friday.

Faith Formation in English 

Classes will begin on Sunday, September 25th, with all of our programming being held in person.

 

All Faith Formation programming will be mask optional for children, parents, catechists, and volunteers.

​

The Family Mass will continue Sundays at 9:00am in the Upper Church.  Faith Formation classes for grades PreK-8 will be take place from 10:00-11:00am. Our Confirmation program will continue to follow a weekly schedule, meeting either at 10:15-11:15am or 6:15-7:15pm on Sundays. In addition to our Middle School Book Club, which meets Friday evenings once a month, we will be introducing a new youth group model for our middle school students (6th-8th grade).

Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion typically occurs during Grade 2. Learn more Here.

Preparation for Confirmation typically occurs during Grades 9 and 10. Learn more Here.

All of our catechists are volunteers, and are parents, Boston College students (undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate level), and other members of the parish. Depending on the number of children registered for each grade level, some grades may have more than one class session. Please pay careful attention to the time slot which you are choosing.

Apreciamos mucho que su familia esté interesada en nuestro programa de Formación en la Fé para sus niños.  Nuestro objetivo como parroquia,  y en el programa de Formación en la Fé,  es fomentar en cada feligrés la búsqueda de por vida para encontrar y seguir a Jesucristo. 

​

Nuestro programa está abierto a niñas y niños de edad pre-escolar y mayores de esa edad.  Les invitamos a que se matriculen en el programa cada año, no solo cuando sus niños necesiten prepararse para recibir un sacramento por primera vez.

​

Queremos ofrecer cuatro niveles de Formación en la Fé en Español de 11:30am a 12:30pm los domingos:

  • Catequesis familiar

  • Preparación para Primera Confesión y Comunión (Segundo Grado ó más)

    • mensualmente durante la programación regular

  • Preparación para la Confirmación (programa ofrecido en inglés)

  • Middle School Book Club (programa ofrecido en inglés)

 

Todos los niños también son bienvenidos a que se matriculen en las clases que se ofrecen en Inglés, si así lo desean.
