Music Ministry

The liturgy at St. Ignatius is enriched by our vibrant, wide-reaching Music Ministry. Involving nearly 100 professional and volunteer vocalists, instrumentalists, and conductors, we strive for excellence as we give praise with our hearts, minds, and voices to the greater glory of God.

Musicians of all backgrounds, ages, and ability levels—whether you are a parishioner, a Boston College or STM student, whether you are new to the parish or have been around for years: we need you! Please consider joining our ministry. We offer a wide range of musical styles and levels of time commitment:

Our Director of Music, Allyn McCourt, received his Masters from the New England Conservatory of Music.
