Centennial Celebration

St. Ignatius Parish kicked off its Centennial Year in November 2025! Over the course of the past year, we have celebrated in multiple ways. Our year-long Centennial celebration will reach an exciting culmination this fall as the parish celebrates two events—a Centennial Mass and Parish Celebration on November 8 with Archbishop of Boston Richard Henning, and a Fundraising Gala on October 24 to support ongoing Church Restoration Project efforts.

Your Parish, Your History

As we celebrate 100 years of St. Ignatius, we remember that it is the people who make up our parish. We invite you to share photos, videos, or stories about your time at St. Ignatius to remember our past—and we ask that you consider supporting the St. Ignatius Church Restoration Project so we can build for the next 100 years!

From the Archive

Photos, clippings, blueprints, and more from St. Ignatius parishioners and from archives at the Archdiocese, Boston College, MIT, and beyond!

Centennial Series:

In this first event of the Ignatius Centennial Series, Boston College professor James O'Toole introduces us to two key events in the life of our parish: the founding in 1926, and the construction of the church building in 1949. (Sunday, 11 January 2026)
