Church Restoration Project

As St. Ignatius Parish celebrates its centennial year, we want to ensure that our church building continues to stand proudly for the next 100 years. Significant church renovation began in Fall 2025, and is being undertaken in three distinct phases (see below.)

Phase I

  • Sacristy roof repair

  • Lower church stained glass window restoration

  • Window frame repainting

  • External wooden doors refinishing

Phase II

  • South and west side repair

  • Masonry repair

  • Buttress caps repair

  • Window restoration

  • Roofing and flashing work

  • HVAC equipment repair

  • Terrazzo floor repair

  • Accessible ramp repair

Information Sessions

Church Restoration Project Information Sessions will take place on:

 

                                               ·      Saturday, September 5 (after the 4 pm Mass in the Friary Room)

                                               ·      Sunday, September 13 (after the 5 pm Mass in the Friary Room)

                                               ·      Sunday, September 27 (after the 9 am Mass in the Friary Room,

                                                                    after the 10:30 am Mass in the Media Room, and after the                                                                                         12:30 pm Mass in the Media Room)

 

These informal and interactive sessions will detail the progress we’ve made, describe the work that lies ahead, and provide an opportunity to answer your questions.  No need to RSVP -- we hope you’ll be able to stop by to learn more about plans to ensure that St. Ignatius is ready to take full advantage of its second century!
